We provide multiple levels of care for the substance use disorder spectrum. All treatment is evidence-based and meets the criteria recommended by The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM):

In addition to the above treatments, we also perform Interventions, SUD Assessments, Urine Screening, and have a Family Support Educational Program.

At Present Moments Recovery our treatment programs are flexible, providing daytime and evening treatment options (Monday-Friday) to accommodate the schedules of our adult clients.  We have a maximum of only 10 clients in each track of our PHP, IOP, OP levels of care and 6 in our Residential Treatment to preserve quality of care.

What makes us truly unique is our  treatment process that we specifically created to serve military spouses or adult children of military members with a substance use disorder.  Present Moments Recovery is not just Veteran owned and an employer of Veterans, but also employs spouses of military members. 

Having that intimate knowledge of the challenges and lifestyle of a military life was the inspiration for the creation of the SUD military spouses and adult children of military member’s track.  The military specific track will address SUD and PCS, Grief and Loss, Healthy Self Care During Deployments, How to Establish a Sober Support Network in a New Location, Healthy Leisure Activities During Command Functions, and Where to Find Resources in the Military Community to Support a Lifestyle of Recovery.

TRICARE Insurance Accepted at Present Moments Recovery

TRICARE provides health coverage, mental health care coverage,  and prescription medication insurance to eligible military members and their families. Offering many different insurance plans, TRICARE coverage meets all requirements considered as minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

TRICARE provides insurance coverage for military personnel that will help them through addiction recovery, and, fortunately, TRICARE often covers behavioral health and substance abuse treatment.

Managed by the Defense Health Agency, this group of comprehensive health insurance programs is for those who are either currently in the armed forces, retirees, and the families of uniformed service members and retirees.

Present Moments Recovery is proud to offer detox and inpatient addiction treatment services covered by TRICARE. Our family-owned, Veteran-owned rehab is committed to bringing high-quality care to our military.  TRICARE coverage extends to military Veterans and their families, including:

Tricare covers the majority of drug treatment and mental health services.

Individual coverage depends on the status of their service and their qualifications. In some instances, and under certain plans, it may be required of them to receive a referral from their doctor before Tricare covers the cost of their treatment.

What Treatments Does TRICARE Offer Eligible Members With Substance Use Disorders?

TRICARE’s different insurance programs offer many options, including “medically and psychologically necessary mental health and substance use disorder care.”

On the list of approved treatments and programs are:

• Applied behavior analysis
• Drug testing
• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Family therapy
• Intensive outpatient programs, inpatient hospital services, management of withdrawal symptoms (detox)
• Medication-assisted treatment
• Office-based opioid treatment
• Opioid treatment programs

• Transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Note that, although Tricare often covers these services,  coverage for addiction treatment by insurance plans depends on the client and their unique circumstances.
